The Harvia Legend 25L Water Heater is a purpose-built hot water solution designed exclusively for use with Harvia Legend wood-burning sauna stoves. Its standout pipe-through-tank construction places the flue pipe directly inside the water reservoir, transferring heat from the fire rapidly and efficiently — meaning hot water is ready faster and stays hotter for longer.
The front panel is dressed with authentic sauna stones, giving the unit a natural, traditional aesthetic that blends seamlessly into any sauna interior. Those same stones can be used for steam throwing (löyly), adding practical dual-purpose functionality. A separately mounted tap keeps the hot water draw point at a safe distance from the heat source, eliminating any burn risk during use.

Installation
- Mount the water heater tank onto your Harvia Legend wood stove as per Harvia's installation guidelines.
- Position the tap in your preferred location — bench, shelf, or wall-mounted.
- Fill the tank with cold water via the designated fill point.
- Light your stove as normal; the pipe-through-tank design heats the water rapidly as the fire burns.
- Draw hot water from the remote tap whenever needed during your sauna session.

Which stoves is this water heater compatible with?
The Harvia Legend 25L Water Heater is designed specifically for use with Harvia Legend wood-burning sauna stoves. It is not compatible with electric heaters or other stove brands without prior technical verification.
Can the sauna stones on the front be used for steam?
Yes — the stones covering the front panel are fully functional and can be used for throwing water to create steam (löyly), just like a traditional sauna heater.
Where does the tap need to be installed?
The tap can be mounted flexibly — on a sauna bench, a shelf, or directly on the wall. The remote placement is a key safety feature, keeping your hands away from the hot stove area.
How long does it take for the water to heat up?
Thanks to the pipe-through-tank design, the water heats up significantly faster than external wrap-around tank designs. Heating time depends on your stove's output and the starting water temperature, but you can typically expect hot water within 45–90 minutes of lighting the stove.
Does this include the stove or chimney pipe?
No. The water heater unit and tap are included. The Harvia Legend stove, chimney/flue pipes, and sauna stones for the stove itself are all purchased separately.
