The SAWO Innova Contactor INP-S is a dedicated power expansion module that enables the SAWO Innova 2.0 control system to operate high-power electric sauna heaters exceeding 15 kW. Without a contactor, the Innova 2.0 controller's internal relay is limited in the current it can safely switch — the INP-S solves this by handling the high-current load externally, while the controller continues to manage all timing, temperature, and programming functions as normal.
The unit is compact and straightforward to install, connecting to the Innova 2.0 controller via the included 1 m RJ12 cable. It fits neatly in control panels or installation enclosures due to its slim 265 × 245 × 75 mm housing, and delivers stable, reliable load management for continuous commercial or intensive private sauna operation.

How to Use

Do I need the INP-S for all SAWO Innova heaters?
No — only for NS series heaters with power ratings above 15 kW. For heaters at or below 15 kW, the Innova 2.0 controller handles the load directly without a contactor.
Can the INP-S be used with other control systems?
The INP-S is specifically designed for the SAWO Innova 2.0 Power Controller and connects via the proprietary RJ12 interface. It is not designed for use with other brand controllers.
Does this replace the Innova 2.0 controller?
No — the INP-S works alongside the Innova 2.0 controller, not instead of it. The controller continues to provide all user-facing functions; the contactor simply handles the high-current switching.
Is professional installation required?
Yes. Any work involving high-current electrical equipment must be carried out by a qualified electrician in compliance with UK and local electrical regulations.
