The Harvia Legend 150 SL (WK150LDSL) is a premium wood-burning sauna heater from Harvia's iconic Legend series, engineered for sauna rooms between 6 and 13 m³. Its defining feature is the external firebox (SL) — the stove is installed through the wall so that all wood loading, stoking, and ash removal happens from the adjacent dressing room or relaxation room. The sauna room itself remains completely clean and free of debris.
Inside the sauna, only the striking round Legend column is visible — an open steel frame packed with stones along its entire height. This creates a massive thermal reservoir capable of holding up to 120 kg of stones, delivering soft, deeply saturated steam and excellent long-term heat retention. The cast iron door with glass provides a captivating view of the live flames from the dressing room, adding warmth and ambience to your relaxation space.

Installation
Installation
- Plan the wall opening between the sauna and the adjacent room to suit the external firebox (SL) configuration.
- Install the stove so the stone column sits inside the sauna and the firebox faces the dressing room.
- Connect a 115 mm diameter flue pipe to the smoke outlet.
- Use adjustable legs to ensure the stove is perfectly level on the fireproof base.
- Observe minimum safety distances: 1000 mm to ceiling, 200 mm to sides.
- Load sauna stones (sold separately) into the stone basket before first use.
- Refer to the Harvia user manual for full installation and commissioning instructions.

What does "SL" mean on the Harvia Legend 150 SL?
"SL" stands for external firebox — the stove is installed through the sauna wall so it is loaded with wood from the dressing room or adjacent space, keeping the sauna room clean and free of ash, wood chips, and smoke.
Do sauna stones come included?
No. Sauna stones (up to 120 kg) must be purchased separately. Using the correct type and size of sauna stones is important for steam quality and safety — we recommend using Harvia-approved stones.
Are flue pipes included?
Smoke/flue pipes are not included. You will need a 115 mm diameter flue system. We stock both metal smoke pipes and stainless steel chimney pipes — please browse the relevant categories on our store.
Can the door opening direction be changed?
Yes — the cast iron door is reversible, meaning the hinge can be repositioned to open left or right depending on your dressing room layout.
Can I add a water heater to this stove?
Yes, a compatible Harvia water heater can be added for hot water access during your sauna sessions. The Harvia Legend 25L Water Heater is available separately on our store.
Is this stove CE-certified?
Yes, the Harvia Legend 150 SL meets European CE requirements and is suitable for installation across the UK and EU (excluding specific local regulatory requirements in some countries).
