The SAWOTEC ARI Corner ARI3-90NS-CNR-C is a 9.0 kW corner-mounted electric sauna heater purpose-designed to maximise space efficiency while delivering powerful, reliable heating for saunas of 8 to 14 m³. The corner placement is a significant practical advantage — it reduces the heater's footprint to an absolute minimum, keeps walkways clear, and dramatically lowers the risk of accidental contact with the hot surface during use, making it a particularly smart choice for family saunas.
The open stainless steel stone basket is fully exposed on its external surface, meaning water can be poured over the entire stone mass for rich, layered steam. With a stone capacity of up to 60 kg, the thermal mass is substantial enough to maintain steady heat and comfortable steam delivery throughout extended sessions. The vertical format contributes a tall, elegant profile while keeping the base compact.
This is the NS version, which supports bench integration using an optional special flange. A separate control unit is required (not included); compatible units include HARVIA C170VKK, CS110, CS170, C150, CX110, CX170, CF9 and SAWO K1–K4.

Installation
- Position the heater in the corner of the sauna room on a fireproof, level base.
- Maintain minimum safety clearances: 1900 mm to the ceiling, 100 mm to side walls.
- Connect the heater to the appropriate power supply using the correct cable specification for your supply type.
- Connect a compatible separate control unit following the manufacturer's wiring diagram.
- Load sauna stones (up to 60 kg) into the open basket before first use.
- Refer to the user manual for full installation instructions. Use a qualified electrician for all wiring work.

Does this heater include a control unit?
No — this is the NS version, which requires a separately purchased external control unit. Compatible options include HARVIA C170VKK, CS110, CS170, C150, CX110, CX170, CF9 and SAWO K1–K4. This allows you to select the control functionality that best suits your installation.
Why is corner installation beneficial?
Corner placement minimises the heater's intrusion into the usable sauna floor area, keeps the main walkway clear, and significantly reduces the risk of accidental contact by placing the hot surfaces into a protected corner position — especially important in family or public use environments.
Are sauna stones included?
No. The open basket accepts up to 60 kg of sauna-rated stones, purchased separately. Use only stones approved for electric sauna heaters.
What power supply is required?
The ARI Corner 9.0 kW supports three supply configurations: 380–415 V 3N~, 220–240 V 3~, or 220–240 V 1N~. Fuse and cable requirements vary accordingly — refer to the specifications above and always use a qualified electrician.
What does "NS version" mean?
The NS designation indicates this model supports bench integration using an optional special flange, allowing the heater to be partially recessed into or mounted close to the sauna bench for a built-in aesthetic.
