The SAWO Super Nimbus Combi NIMC-150NS-P is a 15.0 kW floor-mounted Combi electric sauna heater — a premium solution that combines classic dry Finnish sauna heat with the ability to produce a milder, more humid microclimate at the push of a button. It is entirely clad in natural soapstone, which has among the highest heat capacity of any natural material, ensuring temperatures remain stable and steam delivery consistent throughout long, intensive sessions.
The Combi format is defined by an integrated 5.0 litre water tank — a built-in steaming system that generates additional humidity independently of manual water-throwing. This allows you to programme precise humidity levels, move seamlessly between dry sauna and humid SPA modes, and achieve professional results without the guesswork. The stone basket accepts up to 75 kg of sauna stones, and aroma cups at the corners allow aromatherapy during any session mode.
A separate control unit is required — compatible with SAWO Innova Combi or equivalent controllers capable of managing both heating and humidity functions.

Installation
- Position the heater centrally on a fireproof, level floor in the sauna room.
- Maintain safety clearances: 1400 mm to the ceiling, 100 mm to side walls.
- Connect to a 400 V 3N~ supply using the appropriate cable and fuse for your configuration. Use only a qualified electrician.
- Connect a SAWO Innova Combi (or equivalent) control unit per the manufacturer's wiring diagram.
- Fill the integrated water tank and load up to 75 kg of sauna stones before first use.
- Read the full user manual before commissioning. Comply with all local electrical and building regulations.

What is "Combi" mode?
Combi mode refers to the heater's ability to operate in both dry and humid modes. The integrated 5.0L water tank enables automatic steam generation, producing a controlled level of additional humidity. This allows you to switch between a traditional dry Finnish sauna and a milder, more humid SPA-style environment using the control unit — without manually throwing water onto the stones.
Do I need a special control unit for this heater?
Yes — a Combi-compatible control unit is required. The SAWO Innova Combi (or equivalent) is recommended, as it is designed to control both the heating element and the integrated water tank's steam generation function. A standard non-Combi controller will not manage the steam function.
Why is full soapstone cladding significant?
Soapstone has one of the highest heat capacities of any natural stone — it stores more thermal energy per kilogram than granite or basalt, and releases it slowly and evenly. Full cladding means the entire outer surface of the heater radiates gentle, steady heat rather than sharp infrared radiation from metal surfaces.
Are sauna stones included?
No — sauna stones (up to 75 kg) are sold separately. Use only stones specifically approved for electric sauna heaters. Never exceed the maximum stone load.
Is this suitable for commercial use?
Yes. At 15 kW and with full soapstone cladding, the Super Nimbus Combi is designed to handle regular intensive use in commercial saunas, hotel SPAs, and wellness facilities of 13–23 m³.
Delivery: Dispatched from our UK warehouse. At 120 kg (without stones), this product is delivered via specialist freight/pallet courier. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. Lead time is approximately 3–7 working days.
Returns: Returns accepted within 30 days of receipt for unused, uninstalled items in original packaging. Electrical items must not have been connected to qualify for return. Report damage within 48 hours with photographs.
