Thermowood's heat treatment removes resin and lowers moisture absorption by up to 50%, meaning far less swelling, warping, or cracking than untreated timber — with durability approaching oak. Because the furnace sits outside the tub, the bathing area stays fully open, and no building permit or foundation is needed for this compact two-person tub.

Place the tub on a firm, level surface, connect the external stove, and fill with water. Light a wood fire and allow 2–4 hours for the water to reach bathing temperature. Use the two-step ladder and built-in benches for comfortable entry and exit.
