Surface Preparation
Wooden surfaces must be dry before application — maximum wood humidity of 15% and air relative humidity below 80%. Old surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned of dirt, fungus, and other removable substances (e.g. with sandpaper) before applying Taroil.
How To Apply
- Shake well before and during use — no dilution required.
- Apply a thin, even layer of Taroil to the surface using a brush or cloth and allow it to fully absorb.
- Remove all unabsorbed oil from the surface after absorption.
- Allow to dry fully, then lightly polish before applying the next layer.
- Pay extra care to the ends of wooden surfaces to ensure full protection.
Apply 1 to 4 layers depending on the condition and intended use of the wood. Taroil can be toned using paint pigments for a custom shade. Annual maintenance treatment can be applied as needed.
Note: Taroil is not suitable for varnished or painted surfaces. Always use strictly as directed.
