Timber walls are supplied untreated — treat soon after installation with a quality stain, paint or impregnation fluid to protect the wood long term (the UPVC doors and windows themselves need no treatment). A 28mm Pre-Cut Deluxe Floor/Decking upgrade is also available (adds 6-8 weeks to lead time).
We highly recommend upgrading to roof shingles: ordinary felt lasts 2-3 years, while shingles last 15+ years and rarely need replacing — the difference between a shed-like finish and a genuinely premium log cabin.
