The Ignis-V75 is a professional-grade, wood-fired swimming pool and hot tub heater delivering a powerful 75 kW of heat output — built for pools and hot tubs from 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) in diameter and above. Crafted from high-quality, seawater-resistant marine aluminium, this heater is engineered for durability, efficiency, and long-term performance in outdoor environments across the UK and Europe.
Unlike stainless steel alternatives, marine aluminium offers approximately 15× better thermal conductivity — making the Ignis-V75 up to 30% more efficient at transferring heat to your water. The 3 mm thick aluminium shell is twice the thickness of typical stainless steel furnaces, while still being 30% lighter. Aluminium also holds its shape over time — stainless steel heaters can warp and become misshapen with prolonged use.
Water circulation operates on the natural thermosiphon principle — rising hot water creates flow without requiring a pump. However, to ensure optimal and consistent flow, we recommend installing a low-speed electric pump with a flow rate of 1,500–2,500 litres/hour and water pressure up to 0.4 bar.
The unit ships complete with a 2-metre stainless steel chimney (two-part), manometer, thermometer, and automatic air separator — everything you need for a straightforward installation.

Do I need electricity or a pump to use this heater? ⌄
The heater naturally circulates water using the thermosiphon principle — no electricity is required for basic operation. However, to ensure a smooth, consistent water flow, we strongly recommend installing a low-speed electric pump with a flow rate of 1,500–2,500 l/h and max water pressure of 0.4 bar.
Why is aluminium better than stainless steel for a pool heater? ⌄
Marine aluminium conducts heat approximately 15× more efficiently than stainless steel, making this heater up to 30% more effective. The 3 mm thick shell is twice the thickness of typical stainless steel units, yet the overall heater is still 30% lighter. Aluminium also holds its shape over time — stainless steel can warp and become misshapen from prolonged heat exposure.
Can I use chlorine or pool chemicals with this heater? ⌄
Chlorine is not recommended with aluminium heaters. For other pool chemicals, please verify they are safe for use with marine aluminium before use. Using incompatible chemicals can cause irreparable damage and will void the warranty.
What should I do before lighting the heater for the first time? ⌄
Always fill the heater completely with water before lighting it. Starting the fire without water inside will permanently damage the unit and void your warranty. Never operate the heater dry under any circumstances.
How do I winterise the heater to prevent freeze damage? ⌄
When outdoor temperatures reach -1°C or below, drain the heater completely using the drainage tap located on the underside of the unit. Water left inside at freezing temperatures can cause irreversible damage that is not covered under warranty.

The Ignis-V75 ships as a complete kit including: the 75 kW heater unit, a 2-metre stainless steel chimney (two-part), a manometer, a thermometer, and an automatic air separator. No additional core components are required.
