Total Alkalinity is a buffer that helps water resist pH swings. Incorrect TA can mean fluctuating pH, less effective chlorine, and even damage to your pool or hot tub. ClearWater TA Plus neutralises acids to prevent rapid pH changes, keeping your water balanced and comfortable.
Step 1: Test your water. If Total Alkalinity is below 80ppm, use TA Plus.
Step 2: Measure the quantity needed — 18g of TA Plus per 1000L raises Total Alkalinity by 10ppm.
Step 3: Dissolve the granules in a container of warm water, then pour into the hot tub.
Step 4: Run the filter for 4 hours, then retest and repeat if needed.
